Did you all have a good new year ?? January is almost ending right , time flies super fast, can’t believe that we are reaching february already !!!
I haven’t been blogging a lot past few days , because I am working on something these days and really not able to create new recipes 🙂 . So when Sonal asked about a collective post for Super bowl , I was like I should definitely do that . Thanks Sonal for remembering me and tagging me , it helped to move my butt and work on a new recipe 😉
For this superbowl party I am bringing you all a delicious and nutritious dip with tons of flavor. It’s a very straightforward recipe , not too complicated and you can make it in no time !!! , isn’t that cool. Make it in huge batches and serve it with crackers or veggies , trust me it will dissappear super fast . This dip is better than the calorie laden store bought dips , make your own to munch guilt free and surprise the guests with the secret flavors in this lip smacking dip. I have made this dip in a south western style with addition of chipotle peppers, garlic , cilantro and tons of lemon in that . It is a piquant dip and trust me you can never stop eating it!!!

Prep Time – 30 minutes
Cooking Time – 10 minutes

Red Kidney Beans – 1 cup
Garlic- 2 cloves
Chipotle pepper- 1 no (check notes for more details)
Lemon juice- half a lemon
Cilantro- chopped 2 tablespoons
Smoked Paprika- a pinch
Salt- as needed
Olive oil – 1 tablespoon
1. Place all the ingredients in a food processor and blend it till smooth , that’s it !!! pretty simple right , check notes below for some tips
1. You can use canned red kidney beans to make your life easier , but I soaked dried beans overnight , then cooked it next day
2. I used canned chipotle pepper , you can get dried ones soak it in hot water for 30 minutes then grind it .
