Strawberry Mint Lemonade

Hello Everyone !!!

Yet another summer cooler recipe from Crackleandtemper.. It is the time of strawberry picking in a lot of places in North America, I am sure a lot of you would have gone for it and left out with tons of strawberries at home . For you all who wants to use up the left over strawberries I am presenting you a wonderful drink made with strawberries, lemon and mint ; easy to prepare and also you can prepare it ahead of time . This lemonade stays good in the fridge up to 3 or 4 days .
I have not used white sugar here , but feel free to use it if you want to . I have used honey to sweeten the lemonade just to give it a twist but feel free to use cane sugar , brown sugar , agave or maple syrup . I have used a handful which was 7 to 8 strawberries , you can increase or decrease the number according to the tartness you want . This drink will be a tangy , sweet and refreshing one so be careful not to over sweeten the drink , it will spoil the tartness of the beautiful drink. The yield of this recipe is 1 litre of drink which is good for 4 people . Please do adjust sweetness according to your palate , I like mine bit tarter so you may find the amount of honey I have used here is very less.

Prep Time – 10 minutes

Strawberry (Fresh )- 7 to 8 medium size very ripe cut into quarters ( please do increase the quantity if you need more tartness)

Water- 4 cups
Honey- 1 teaspoon ( please increase sweetness according to your palate)
Ice cubes- as  needed
Mint leaves – 5 to 6

1. Blitz all the above ingredients in a blender till smooth

2. Strain and serve it over ice .
